Praised for the intensity and depth of her performances, over the last 10 years Noemí Teruel Serrano has developed a wide and fruitful concert career in Italy and part of Europe with great success with the public and critics. She completed her higher studies at the Royal Conservatory of Madrid as student of Pilar Bilbao Iturburu (Piano) and Juan Antonio Álvarez Parejo (Vocal accompaniment), graduating in June 2010 with top marks. Throughout her career, she has received different awards in different competitions in Spain and Italy ("Primitivo Lázaro" International Competition, second prize in 2003; "Ciudad de El Ejido" Competition, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively, in 2002 and 2003; "Marisa Montiel" Competition "special mention in 2008, "Carlo Vidusso" Competition, in 2012, etc. In 2016, she passed the initial pre-selection to participate in the "JS Bach" International Competition held in Würzburg (Germany).
She actively participates in numerous masterclasses and piano workshops with important international teachers, including Ana Guijarro, Joaquín Achúcarro, Ricardo Requejo, Ramón Coll, Joaquín Soriano, Ralf Natkemper, Vincenzo Balzani, Natalia Trull, Marcella Crudelli, etc. Special mention deserves her presence at the "From Chopin to Gorecki" festival in July 2007 and 2008 at the Chopin Academy in Warsaw, where she had the opportunity to receive advice from the Polish pianists Jerzy Sterczynski, Andrzej Dutkiewicz and Jan Kalunvinsky, being invited to perform at the closing concerts of both editions of the festival.
In winter 2011, Noemí experienced one of the most important moments of her artistic career: she was admitted to the "Winter School" of the Tchaikovskij Conservatory in Moscow, becoming part of the prestigious class of the Russian pianist Natalia Trull, and thus receiving, directly, the most important advices from the tradition of the best piano school in the world, which will inexorably mark their professional future.
At the end of 2011 she moved to Italy to continue her advanced studies with the Russian pianist Vsevolod Dvorkin, a direct student of Lazar Berman. In October 2013, she was admitted to the Master of Piano Performance at the Accademia del Talento di Desio (Milan), where she studied with Maestro Vsevolod Dvorkin.
From that moment on, she began a great concert activity that led her to perform in venues and theaters throughout Europe, including: Eutherpe de León Foundation, Manuel de Falla Hall of the Royal Superior Conservatory of Madrid, "Maestro Padilla" Auditorium " in Almería, Rachmaninov Hall of the Tchaikovskij Conservatory in Moscow, Concert Hall of the Chopin Academy in Warsaw, Prague Conservatory, National Museum of Prague, Teatro Sociale di Como, Teatro Fumagalli di Cantù, Teatro "Giuditta Pasta" di Saronno, Villa Imbonati (Como), Villa Giuliani (Brunate, Como), Villa Carlotta (Lake Como), Villa Balbianello (Lake Como), Villa Erba (Cernobbio, Como), Villa Bernasconi (Cernobbio, Como), Villa Làrio (Pognagna), Villa Arese- Borromeo (Cesano Maderno), Villa Tittoni (Milan), Palazzo Piacentini (San Benedetto del Tronto) etc.
In May 2012 she made her debut with theBacau Philharmonic Orchestra (Romania), performing the Concerto No. 2 in B flat major op. 19 by Beethoven conducted by Ovidio Balan. Since then, she has collaborated with numerous orchestras, performing a major part of the repertoire for piano and orchestra. In this sense, it is worth noting the artistic work carried out together with the Italian conductor Stefano Nigro and the "Settembre Classico" orchestra, offering during the last seasons a rich and varied program that has led them to fill numerous halls and theaters throughout Lombardy ( Italy), affirming herself with the general recognition of the public and critics.
In addition, she presents numerous solo recitals, in which she proposes a vast repertoire with works of all styles, from Baroque music to Romanticism,. Her commitment to programming and disseminating the work of Clara Schumann is truly remarkable. Regarding this aspect, Noemí has designed a recital programme called "Il tema di Clara" for the bicentenary of her birth (2019), with music by Clara, Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms. This programme pretends to express a dialogue between the works of these three great masters. This recital has received great critics in its many performances and was recorded for Italian television in March 2021, on the occasion of one of the "Women's Day" commemorative events promoted by the Platina International Festival and the Rotary Club of Cremona.
In 2018 she founded the "Settembre Classico" classical music festival, which presented a season of solo and chamber concerts during the month of September in the historic Villa Imbonati (San Fermo della Battaglia, Como). In addition, this festival also offered a symphonic season with the "Settembre Classico" orchestra conducted by Stefano Nigro, which took place throughout the different months of the year in prestigious venues in Lombardy (Teatro Sociale Como, Teatro "Giuditta Pasta" Saronno, Villa Erba, etc.).
In the last years, along with her artistic career, she has developed an intense pedagogical activity between Italy and Spain, which has allowed her to train more than 40 students of all ages and levels, some of them awarded in the field of important national and international competitions. In addition, she is regularly invited to give masterclasses and advenced training courses in Italy (Piceno Classica, San Benedetto del Tronto, Pistoia, Firenze etc.)
