Biography

She began her musical training as a pianist to complete it with the study of singing with Elena Durgaryan. Her first contacts with musical creation come from her activity as a performer, belonging to different aesthetics’ musical groups, from traditional music to opera, for which she writes musical adaptations and arrangements. As a composer, her training is based on the teachings of Antón García Abril and David del Puerto. In the composition of concert music, she has in her catalog works for several ensembles, highlighting her special interest in voice and chamber music. She has received commissions from different festivals and institutions, including the Albéniz Foundation and the Spain National Orchestra.
As for applied music, she has a master’s degree in Composition for Audiovisual Media from Superior Center Katarina Gurska and she is Specialist in Orchestration for Film and TV by Berklee College of Music, with teachers such as Pinar Toprak, Ben Newhouse, Eva Gancedo or Mario Gosálvez. She has worked for documentary and fiction film productions, as well as for advertising, audio branding and video games.
Her creative activity leads her to artistic and musical direction, producing music-scenic projects such as «La Vida Rosa», «La Casa de Tala», «Añadas, canciones para soñar despierto», «Trovadores, un viaje musical» or «María La Balteira, una mujer del futuro», works in which multidisciplinarity and cocreation are promoted and where, in occasions, she acts as well like guionist and songwriter.
Within her educational work, she performs workshops on subjects such as "Active Musical Listening", "Musical Creation in Audiovisual Media" and “Musical layers perception in applied music” and creates open educational web resources, focusing on musical analysis.
